Primary Presenter Bio: Ashley Pearcy has been a registered nurse in Pediatrics for 12 years and received her BSN at the University of Evansville, IN. During that time, she obtained her certification in pediatric care and is looked to as an expert in pediatric clinical nursing at Hendricks Regional Health.

She received her ASN from Indiana State University and her BSN from the University of Indianapolis. She has presented nationally on her innovative practice to improve mother/baby bonding through Face-Time and was published in 2015 through Neonatal Network.

Presenter 4 Bio: Brittany is the Maternal/Child Clinical Nurse Specialist at Hendricks Regional Health. She received her undergrad and graduate degree from Indiana University. Her work focuses on improving patient outcomes and advancing the professional nurse. She has presented her work nationally on many maternal/child performance improvement efforts and outcomes.

Presenter 5 Bio: Leigh Anne received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Transylvania University in 2008. She went on to receive her ASN in 2012 and her BSN from WGU in 2016. She most recently received her master’s degree in nursing leadership and management in 2018. She is a certified lactation counselor and one of Hendricks Regional Health’s perinatal educators, where she teaches a siblings class for newborns born at Hendricks Regional Health. She has been employed at Hendricks for 15 years and has worked on the Pediatrics Unit for 6 years.
