Session Description: The session will discuss one pediatric medical-surgical care center’s leadership journey to develop and implement a strategy aimed at providing intentional, real time support and coaching to enhance the development of newly hired RNs through their first year of hire. The presentation will include outcomes, insights and lessons learned.
Primary Presenter Bio: Jen Engelmann is the Clinical Manager of Operations at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health on the 7West Unit. She has been with the organization for 11 years, serving in several different leadership roles. She holds her BSN from Valparaiso University and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.

She also sits on the IU Health System Professional Practice Council and is a Clinical Advisor.
