Session Description: Identify that drawing blood samples from a pre-existing PIV catheter in the pediatric population is quality and patient satisfaction driven from evidence based research.
Primary Presenter Bio: Nina Klee has been a pediatric nurse for almost 35 years working on a pediatric unit in a community hospital. She completed 5 years of pediatric home care nursing. Nina has spent many years involved in the quality aspect of nursing, implementing a pediatric Mepilex screening tool and a pediatric infiltration scale into my organization. Presently she sits on her organization’s nursing quality review board.
