Target Audience: RNs: Pediatric Nurses in all practice settings
Description: This learning opportunity will be highly beneficial for nurses and other health care providers for children, who desire to increase their understanding of suicide risk and prevention in children and adolescents. The content will address key factors in the escalating behavioral health needs of youths and how those risks increase suicidality. This is especially critical knowledge for health care providers with limited to moderate training in suicide prevention.
Outcome: Participants will learn the key modern drivers of suicide risk in youths, how to detect, screen, and develop suicide prevention strategies to integrate into practice.
